Traveling itself isn’t as easy as it looks on the surface; especially when traveling to another country, you have to make sure that you don’t miss anything. Now, because you aren’t in your own country, it is better to stay away from all possible problems.

You must put in an effort to learn at least an overview of their rules and regulations, or local laws. If you can, find out about any restaurants that are nearby, and learn about different sights you may visit. If you plan on shopping there, research about the shopping malls and other shopping areas that are busy. Malls aren’t the only place to shop; there are (usually) many local shopping streets which can give you an excellent shopping experience. As much as possile, learn whatever you can about the place, in details. You must always carry a little bit of local currency. You may not think that’s important but it can help you in trouble.
All the required documents (passport, VISA, etc) must be there as well.
